Strathcona War Memorial Sign
Located in a school in south Edmonton, the sign was installed to commemorate those people who gave their service to the two great wars last century. The names indicated were students who had attended the school in the 1900’s and to remind future students of the sacrifices given by those who came before them. Made of 12mm tempered glass complete with deep surface sand carving to set all of the text for the names and statements and then are colour filled white to stand out prominently on the burgundy background. The logo was applied as a subliminal image on the back face of the glass to show through und the glass surface while the lettering floated above. The flags are made of full colour imaged aluminum and the sign was installed using stand off posts.
