V-Carving is a technique where a design is brought into special software, and a program is written that controls a computer operating router.  The router interprets the design and creates a special file that allows the design to be intricately carved into the surface of the wood at various depths to bring the image to life . V-Carving produces a beautiful and precise design and can be produced up to 120″ X 60″.  The image shown here is a small example of what is possible.  This sign is an Oak veneer plywood but could easily be solid hardwood, MDF or even acrylic.
